One of the great perks of being a Beauty Insider for Sephora is the fact that you get a birthday gift on the month of your birthday. This was my birthday gift this last month! Included is two lipsticks, and a agave lip scrub and lip balm. The lipsticks are amuse buse lipstick in chai (The second, below), and a matte creame lip crayon in Glace (The first, below). They're both super creamy, though the second was a little patchy. They're both beautiful shades, and the lip scrubs smell AMAZING, and feel great on your lips.

There is no denying that Becca KILLS the game when it comes to highlighters, but I've been hesitant to try their lip products and eyeshadows. I own several of their highlighters, and was interested in their latest launch. My birthday happened to come close to it, so I figured I should use my gift cards to branch out and try new things, and I have to say, I'm super happy I did. The packaging of this eyeshadow palette is absolutely stunning!
You can do so many fun looks just using this palette, and also combinging them with with other palettes. This is the look I did today: I took a fluffy brush with Seashell, and used it as my transition shade. I then put Ocean Jasper all over my lid, and Abalone on the inner corner, going inwards about a quarter of the way on my lid. I then took Tormaline and placed it on the outer corner, blending it upwards and inwards. They were all incredibly easy to blend and put on, and the metalics didnn't need the brush to be wet in order to look great. On my lower lashline, I used Ocean Jasper all the way across, and Tormaline halfway across. The new lip gloss is amazing as well, and really does change colors. The Luprative Lipgloss is a shiny clear gloss you put on your bare lips, and it changes colors. I've honestly been wearing it without other makeup, too. It turns to a super pinky, natural shade for me. (Ignore my eyelash being half off, I started taking them off before I realized I didn't get a super close up.)
This morning I tried the On Your Mark Blemish Mark Fader, as well as the Be berry ready foaming cleanser, and the Seriously shine free moisturizer. Though this look makes blue eyes pop, it's great for any eyecolor really. And it's simple! I actually used three different palettes, but you do not, by any means, need to do that too. First, you're going to want to lay down some kind of eyeshadow primer. Some people can go without doing this, but I always end up looking like a hot mess if I don't. For the transition shade, I used the shade Creamsicle from the Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette. It's a beautiful orangey that blends out like a dream. I brought it out a bit in my outer eyelid .After that, I whipped out my Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette, and used the shade Roxy on my lid, blending it up into Creamsicle. You can also take a little more of Creamsicle on your blending brush and really make sure that your crease is well blended together. I used the shade Enlight from the Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette to highlight my brow bone, and finally, I used the shade Sphere- a super bright highlighter yellow from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism palette- in the inner corner of my eye.
This is SUCH a super easy, bright look to do. You don't by any means have to wing your eyeliner (I'm NOT the best at it as can be seen) but you most certainly can if you want to. Take some of the peachy shade from Subculture and place it on the bottom lash line, and then blend some of the Creamcicle into that. After that, use some mascara and pop on some lashes (or don't) and you're done! I'll be posting a palette dislikes within the next couple days! |
